Job Description
The Restaurant Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during their shift. They will ensure that all employees are performing their duties correctly and efficiently, and that customers are satisfied with their experience. The Shift Leader will also be responsible for handling any customer complaints or issues that arise during their shift.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all employees during their shift
- Ensure that all employees are following company policies and procedures
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training to current employees
- Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure that the restaurant is clean and well-maintained at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Assist with scheduling and payroll as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
