Job Description:
The Restaurant Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the customers' tables in a timely and efficient manner. The Food Runner must ensure that the food is delivered to the correct table and that the order is complete and accurate. The Food Runner must also be able to answer any questions the customers may have about the food or the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the customers' tables
- Ensure that the food is delivered to the correct table
- Ensure that the order is complete and accurate
- Answer any questions the customers may have about the food or the restaurant
- Assist the servers with any tasks as needed
- Keep the dining area clean and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a food runner or similar position preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
