Hostess Job Description
We are currently seeking a friendly and outgoing Hostess to join our team at our location in Apple Valley, MN. As a Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their tables
- Manage reservations and ensure that tables are prepared for guests
- Provide menus and answer any questions about menu items
- Take drink orders and communicate them to the bartender or server
- Monitor the dining room to ensure that guests are satisfied and address any issues that arise
- Assist with cleaning and resetting tables as needed
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
