Boca West Country Club is looking to add a Spray Technician to the team!

General Statement of Duties:

Maintains golf courses and keeps courses free of weeds, fungi and insects, etc.

Duties:

1. Mixes and applies pesticides and performs proper clean up procedures for restricted use of pesticides.

2. Mixes and applies pesticide to the greens, tees, fairways, roughs, etc., as described on the daily assignment sheet.

3. Avoids interrupting members’ games whenever possible.

4. Attends training sessions conducted by the Head Spray Technician or other qualified personnel which provide information on the correct use of safety equipment, pesticides and other pertinent information in accordance with Florida’s Right To Know Law.

5. Performs manual spot weeding as needed.

6.Performs other ground maintenance duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Must be able to read and precisely follow instructions.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 months golf course maintenance or pesticide experience is required. Previous experience operating spray equipment is preferred.
