Popular fabric store and interior design center located in Fort Myers Florida looking for an upbeat and outgoing Assistant Manager to drive sales, daily operations, and work flow. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of tasks. A knowledge of fabric, general interior design, and furniture reupholstery is appreciated but not required. Candidate must be detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as with a team to provide an outstanding level of sales and customer service.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Key Holder open and close store
• Oversee staff and work alongside Sales Associates
• Merchandise, measure, and cut fabric
• Fabric sales
• Manually write and calculate sales invoices and process payment
• Manually write production work orders for upholstery workroom
• Create and distribute daily sales reports
• Execute plans and instruction from owner and senior management
• Receive and ship fabric
• Tidy and clean showroom and display areas as needed

Requirements·

• Key Holder open and close store
• 2 years of experience in retail management or sales
• Proficient in English and basic Math
• Ability to multi task and prioritize work based on customer or senior management needs
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management
• Basic computer skills. Email, excel, and word
• Reliable transportation
• Lift 20 lbs.
• Work Saturdays

HOURS: Part Time

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (20 hrs. a week)

Schedule: Monday - Saturday Alternating Days

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
