Position Overview

The Evening Service and Parts Assistant Manager communicates with and schedules needed service work for all of our pre-owned vehicles.

The Evening Service and Parts Assistant Manager schedule is Monday-Friday 3 : 00 p.m. to 11 : 00 p.m.

Who would I interact with?

This position interacts daily with Sales Managers, Parts Advisors, Technicians, and Outside Vendors, just to name a few.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Supervise a team of Technicians, an evening Service team and evening Client Experience.
• Supervise and secure the building's security and set alarm each evening.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Dispatch both internal and client work to a team of technicians.
• Obtain Sales Manager's authorization on each repair order.
• Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts Sales Managers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
• Explains completed work and all charges to Sales Mangers.
• Work with outside vendors / dealerships for sublet repairs and parts.
• Input and book warranty claims for each repair order.
• Give other team members a helping hand with their duties, as needed.

• Detail oriented and excels in a fast-paced, results driven environment.
• Professional and friendly phone skills with a passion for customer service.
• Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, secondary schooling preferred.
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience is a plus.
