What will I be doing?
Support families who are involved with DFCS (Dept. of Family and Children Services) by providing:

• Hotel supervision for displaced foster children
• Parent Aid Training
• Supervise visitation between approved parents and children
• Provide transportation services
• Provide drug screen collections
• Collaborate with case managers, other contractors, and community partners to ensure effective treatment and case collaboration

• Must have the ability to use your professional skills and expertise to help individuals and families in need to reach their greatest potential
• A flexible schedule is important for this role, and allows you to have control over your session planning
• Ability to work independently and manage time well

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field Human Services degrees which are acceptable: Psychology, Sociology, Counseling (religious counseling does not qualify) Social Work, Child Development, Community Mental Health, Human Services, Education (experience teaching K-12 grade)
  • Or
• Five years' experience in the human-services field working with children K-12th grade.
