The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be the right hand to Bobbie’s General Counsel and support on all advisory and legal functions to support the company. This generalist role will be dynamic and cross-functional. You will support all parts of the business including marketing, commercial, Bobbie Labs, e-commerce, and more. 

What you will do: 

• This is a generalist in house counsel role. Your main responsibility will be to support the business in all its legal needs - from advisory work to contract negotiations. Examples of specific needs are below.
• Working cross-functionally with business leaders to support in legal needs
• Build a close relationship with HR, marketing, sales, product, engineering, operations, and other teams to collaborate closely in developing new products, improving existing businesses, identify and resolve legal issues, structure complex agreements, and improve efficiency.
• Commercial & IP
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including master services agreements, marketing agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and more.
• Support trademark, copyright, and licensing workstreams. Experience with patents is a plus! 
• Compliance / Policies and Procedures - managing compliance workstreams (ex. data privacy, TCPA, FTC, etc).

What we would like you have: 

• You have a J.D. degree and 3 years of experience.
• Fundraising experience with VCs is a plus but not required.
• Clear and concise communication skills
• You have demonstrated experience working closely with the business and other cross-functional teams to support all sides of the business
• You demonstrate close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• You have the ability to execute with moderate supervision and balance commercial and legal realities.
• You are comfortable facing internal and external colleagues and clients
