PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• School of Health Professions Program Focus:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the academic programs in the BJU School of Health Professions.
  • Collaborate with deans and faculty in the School of Health Professions to enhance outreach efforts.
• Student Recruitment:
  • Engage with prospective students through various channels, including digital meetings, school visits, college fairs, and information sessions.
  • Represent the BJU positively, providing detailed information about programs, admission requirements, and campus life.
• Application Processing:
  • Review and evaluate student applications to ensure completeness and compliance with admission criteria.
  • Assist and engage both students and parents in the completion and submission of required materials with timely cadence.
• Counseling and Advising:
  • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with prospective students, offering guidance on program selection, admission requirements, and career paths.
  • Assist students in preparing application materials.
• Outreach and Events:
  • `Participate in recruitment events, open houses, and campus tours to showcase the University's offerings.
  • Travel up to 3 weeks a semester for recruiting events.
• Marketing Mindset:
  • Champion the BJU brand and its potential to impact the lives of prospective students.
  • Advocate persuasively for Christian higher education and BJU.
  • Enthusiastically engage with the colleagues, customers, and constituency of BJU.
  • Provide customer service that is second to none.

Note: This position is approximately 75% at a desk, 15% connecting in campus activities, 10% travel.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Passionate about the mission of BJU.
• Experience or education in the field of Business.
• Effective communicator able to speak and write with clarity, accuracy and persuasiveness. Comfortable communicating by phone, email, and text.
• A love for people that enjoys building and nurturing relationships with prospects, parents, etc.
• Professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task, manage projects, and to prioritize and organize responsibilities.
