POSITION SUMMARY: The AHE Clerk will be responsible for the execution of homeschool record keeping responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, report card and transcript generation, course scheduling and counsel, coordination of achievement test results and respective letters of acceptance, and the effective communication of AHE educational goals and philosophy to parents.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Printing, processing, and generating faxes
• Answering and directing phone calls and messages
• Assessing and directing parent requests
• Generating Transcripts
• Coordinating and processing Standard Test Results
• Coordinating Grades/Report Cards
• Composing clear and constructive email correspondence
• Processing late fee payments

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Communication skills
• Operating complex office equipment (scanning, copying, enlarging, shrinking, collating)
• Good typing skills (including manual typewriter on occasion)
• Education-orientated; Have a good grasp of the philosophy of Christian education
• Familiarity with homeschooling helpful
• Microsoft Office
