Boats By George is looking for a retail store associate to work at our marina pro shop! Responsibilities include:
- Professionally Greet Customers and Answer Phones and Take Accurate Messages
- Communicate Customer Needs to the Appropriate Department as Needed
- Notate Requests to Launch Boats from Quick Launch Customers
- Operate Point of Sale and Complete Retail Sale Transactions
- Become a Product Expert and Recommend and Sell Products to Shoppers
- Maintain Accurate Inventory in System and on Display
- Process Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals
- Process Boat Launch Ramp Use Requests
- Stock Items from Storage to Displays to Maintain a Full and Vibrant Store
- General Store Upkeep and Cleaning
- Support Dock Staff as Needed
- Other Marina Store Related Tasks
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Positive and Welcoming Attitude
- Eager to Communicate
- Basic Mathematic Skills
- Ability To Lift up to 50 Lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
