The Unit Supervisor provides leadership that embodies BCC core values and works to maintain a Trauma Responsive Environment. The Unit Supervisor is versed in BCC’s Theory of Change and implements BCC policies and procedures to support a safe and nurturing treatment environment. The Unit Supervisor effectively works as a leader on the interdisciplinary team, and provides coaching and support to Youth Care Professionals.

You would be helping children who have recently migrated to the United States and are seeking opportunities for reunification with family as well as the chance to pursue their education and legal immigration cases. Where is this job based? Is this an in-person position?
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Sunday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Saturday—8 hours a day, with 30 minutes for lunch. Each Supervisor is expected to work two late nights— 2p-10p, with remaining shifts varying as 11a-7p and/or 10a-6p. This position regularly requires flexible work hours to include evening and weekend hours at both on-site and off-site locations. With prior approval from a Treatment Team Manager or Program Director, Supervisors are eligible for flex schedule. This position is classified as an essential staff member for campus emergencies including severe weather.
What experience and education do I need?
Required Education and Experience
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• 1 year of supervisory or management experience
• 1 year of child welfare experience working with children and / or adolescents
