Boar’s Head Resort is Hiring a Loss Prevention Officer (Security Officer) Near Charlottesville, VA

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises by preventing theft and minimizing losses. Patrol areas of the resort including parking lots, buildings and grounds to assure safety and security. Prevent damage to, or loss of, company and employee property

Duties:

- Conduct surveillance to apprehend individuals involved in criminal activities
- Implement loss prevention strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies for criminal investigations when necessary
- Engage in conflict management to resolve disputes and prevent escalation
- Write detailed reports on incidents and maintain accurate records

Skills:

- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Knowledge of criminal investigation procedures and loss prevention methods
- Background in law enforcement or security-related field is preferred
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
- Possession of relevant certifications in loss prevention or related fields
