Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for filling totes with product, along with water and staging product for soaking
• Responsible emptying soak tanks and transferring product to carts, and railing carts into and out of production areas for additional processing.
• Responsible dumping product carts into hoppers and then return carts to rinse area to perform rinse and sanitation.
• Responsible for rinsing carts
• Preform daily quality inspections and make adjustments to product and equipment as necessary
• Clean, trouble shoot and complete basic maintenance on equipment
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and sanitizing equipment
• Responsible for trouble shooting machine and making minor repairs, as well as assisting in preventative maintenance tasks
• Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor / Lead.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• Prior machine operator experience (preferred)
• Ability to operate fork truck and pallet jack
• Computer knowledge and documentation
• Must keep pace with line and able to adjust to changing demands and environments quickly.
• Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
• Must follow company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Plant Rules and Policies.
• Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor / Lead / Manager.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must strive to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.

These positions will require employees to require long work hours (12-hr shifts) during start-up that could also include 6-7day work weeks as the processes ramp up.

NOTE : Selected candidate(s) will be evaluated during a 60-day introductory period to ensure they have ability to perform the job as described above.
