Associate, Tax Management Representative

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Tax Management Representative to join our Retirement Tax Operations team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Serve as a team member for the day-to-day operations for retirement tax team.
• Assist with review of various retirement tax forms (1099R/Q, 5498 and 990Ts).
• Assist with IRS filings (reviewing, reconciling, and filing).
• Lead the UBTI/990T reporting process.
• Assist with reviewing K1s for Unrelated Business Taxable Income.
• Lead the IRS notices process which includes streamlining process, responding to IRS inquires and updating EINs.
• Serve as a backup for other team members.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Proficient in excel and pivot tables
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• 5 years of experience preferred experience in a primary process/product in a brokerage environment, retirement tax reporting knowledge is a plus.
