Description

The Ideal laundry/cleaning Supervisor will be organized, able to work quickly and comfortable managing inventory and pulling products in a timely fashion. The candidate will also need to be comfortable with utilizing software to manage and maintain furniture and household products inventory. This position will require occasional local delivery and requires the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs. Be a team player and help out in areas outside of supervisor scope of work.

Responsible for ensuring the department achieves the highest level of service delivery through effective communication and follow up.

Critical aspects of the role are communicating with laundry, receiving & dispatching requests tasks to all key contacts. Ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the department. The laundry/cleaning supervisor works closely with the laundry team and Housekeeping Manager. We're looking for a talented person who is a self-starter, passionate about what they do and strive for guest satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the scheduling of the Laundry department
• Arranges/Conducts training for new employees and provides continued training for current employees
• Oversees the activities and actions of the laundry personnel to ensures all linen is washed, dried, folded, and stored in a timely manner
• Ensures laundry department area is kept clean and organized
• Keeps mechanical equipment clean and well maintained and reports to manager any mechanical problems for repair
• Provides performance feedback and coaching to laundry members regularly
• Ensures laundry chemicals are stocked and ready for use
• Ensures chemical are properly hooked up to equipment
• Inventories linen monthly
• Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
• Hands-on experience with cleaning and laundry
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Excellent organizational and team management skills
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Hourly pay rate depending on experience.
• Hourly positions with 40 hours of work available.
