Group1 Bedford is looking for a Parts Advisor.
Your roleOur BMW Bedford Retail Centre are actively looking for enthusiastic individuals excited to join our ever-growing automotive family, and if you’re as passionate about cars as we are then we'd love to welcome you to the team where you will be welcomed into a friendly team and be part of our exciting journey.
As a Parts Advisor at Group 1 Automotive you will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting brand.
What you will be doing?
  • Establishing customers’ needs for required parts through conversations, diagnosis and recommendations as appropriate.
  • Communicating relevant promotions and offers to customers.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to external and internal customers.
  • Receiving, recording and allocating parts and consumables from suppliers.
  • Reporting any stock damages or losses.
  • Assisting parts stock checks.
  • Liaising and maintaining a brilliant working relationship with the manufacturer.
  • Being fully conversant with procedures within the parts department.
  • Maintaining and updating displays as per manufacturer requirements.

  • Previous experience of working within the Automotive industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the motor trade
  • Maintain methodical and logical approach to varying workloads
  • Will be able to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A full UK driving licence
