We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Visualization Architect to lead the migration of SAP BusinessObjects (BO) reports to Microsoft Power BI. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing existing BO reports, replicating their functionality and logic within Power BI, and creating efficient and user-friendly data models.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and thoroughly understand existing SAP BO reports, including universes and logic.
• Develop a comprehensive migration plan for transitioning reports to Power BI.
• Replicate the logic and functionality of SAP BO reports within Power BI, ensuring accurate and consistent data visualization.
• Rationalize redundant reports and identify opportunities for consolidation and optimization.
• Develop efficient and scalable data models in Power BI, leveraging best practices for fact and dimensional modeling.
• Integrate data from various sources, including other reporting tools, into the Power BI data model.
• Design and implement a robust semantic layer within Power BI to facilitate intuitive data exploration and analysis.
• Leverage advanced features of Power BI, such as DAX calculations and visualizations, to enhance user experience.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Power BI and continuously improve data visualization practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the migration process, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
• Document the migration process and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience as a Data Visualization Analyst or related role.
• Proven experience in analyzing and migrating SAP BO reports to Power BI.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP BO universes and their functionalities in generating self-service reports.
• Strong understanding of Power BI Desktop functionalities, including data modeling, DAX, and visualization techniques.
• Experience with integrating data from various sources into Power BI data models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
