Job Title: Chiropractic Biller - PIP Auto Insurance Specialist

Location: Fort Lauderdale or Deerfield Beach

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled chiropractic biller who specializes in PIP Auto Insurance billing, ICD-10 and CPT coding to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the paperwork and billing for patients from 8 locations. Timely Filing is a must and needs to be documented. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of patient care, including insurance claims, collections and posting payments and EOB denials.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain and verify patient insurance information, including PIP auto insurance coverage
• Submit accurate and timely insurance claims for and related medical services
• Follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure accurate coding of medical procedures
• Communicate with patients regarding their insurance coverage and payment obligations
• Manage patient billing and collections for services rendered
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and billing information

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding, with a focus on PIP auto insurance billing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding, as well as insurance billing procedures and regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical billing software systems
