Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coating Technician to join our team. As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to a powder coating operation. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with our powder coating system. The right canidate will demonstrate a working knowledge of all aspects of powder coating. Previous experience is required. No training provided.

The work hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm. Overtime may be available on selected Fridays

Duties:

- Sandbalsting as required in blaster cabinet equipment

- Cleaning and prepping of items

- Hanging and Racking of items to be powder coated

- Applying various colors of powder, as required by work order

- Operating the oven to bake and cure powder

- Removing baked items from rack

- Packaging and palleting of completed items

- Assist with wet painting projects or other tasks as required

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse

-Arrive on time prepared for work

Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in powder coating techniques and operations
- Strong materials handling abilities
- Basic math skills for checking quantity for work orders
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus
- Competency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
