Position: Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele
Location: Cooperstown, NY
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 12-hour shifts, days and nights available
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Tele experience required
EPIC Experience: Strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor and record patient medical information and vital signs.
• Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide efficient and effective patient care.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of New York.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2 years of Med Surg Tele experience.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

• Travel between Bassett facilities will be required, including AO Fox, Bassett Medical Center, Cobleskill Regional, Little Falls, and O'Connor Hospital.
• Caregivers will call in for their schedule at 0530 or 1730 the day of their shift.
