Job Title: RN Operating Room - Local Contract

Location: Concord, MA

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12-hour night shifts

Job Description:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Assist in preparing the operating room for surgeries and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain aseptic techniques throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform patient assessments pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring their proper sterilization and availability.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an operating room setting.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNOR certification.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
