Job Title: Endoscopy Technician

Location: Beverly, MA
Schedule: 40 hours/week, DAYS variable shift (could be 4x10-hour days or 5x8-hour days starting at 7am, 8am, or 9am); No weekends; On-call as assigned.

Pay Package: $23/hr on W2 $1200(Weekly non taxable stipend)

$2120(Weekly Gross)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our medical team in Beverly, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience in endoscopy, ambulatory surgery, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), recovery, and moderate sedation. This position involves providing technical support for endoscopic procedures and ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and nurses with endoscopic procedures, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly.
• Prepare and maintain endoscopic instruments and equipment.
• Monitor patients during procedures, observing vital signs and responding to emergencies.
• Provide post-procedure care and support, including patient education and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• Education: Certified Endoscopy Technician.
• Experience: Previous experience in endoscopy, ambulatory surgery, PACU, recovery, or moderate sedation is required.
• License/Certification:
• Current MA License.
• Active BLS/CPR certification.
• Health Requirements: COVID-19 vaccines and booster required at the time of submission.
• Additional Requirements:
• Local candidates not accepted.
• Candidates must not have worked permanently or traveled for any Beth Israel facility within the past year.

Work Environment:
This role requires flexibility in working variable day shifts, which may include starting times at 7am, 8am, or 9am. The position does not require weekend work, and on-call duties will be assigned as needed.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,120.00 per week
