BM Healthcare is Hiring an Emergency Room RN Near San Angelo, TX
Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: San Angelo, TX
Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 12-hour night shift, 4 days a week (48 guaranteed hours)
Job Description:
- Provide professional nursing care for patients in the emergency room
- Triage patients based on acuity level and provide initial assessment
- Administer medications, start IVs, and perform other nursing interventions as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract
Salary: $2,800.00 - $2,900.00 per week
