We are hiring a multi-site Maintenance Technician to support our properties in the Sacramento region. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Coordinator and the Director. Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of our properties in Sacramento, CA.

Perform typical maintenance duties such as, but not limited to:

• Assuring all assigned work orders are accurately completed
• Light electrical repairs
• Light plumbing repairs
• Painting, interior and exterior
• Light carpentry
• Assisting with move-ins, move-outs and annual inspections
• Cleaning common areas
• Maintaining inventory control of all on-site tools, equipment and supplies
• Replacing blinds, drapes, locks, screens, filters, and bulbs
• Cleaning trash container area
• Complying with company safety policies and procedures
• Reliable knowledge of all utility routing and shut-offs
• Maintaining shop, storage and equipment is secure
• Participating in preventive maintenance program.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid CA driver’s license and insurance required
• At least 2 years experience in General Labor
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, 10 pounds over head and scale ladders
• Requires ownership of hand tools
• Pride of workmanship, self-motivated
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
• Good communication skills and professional appearance
• Organized with great attention to detail
• Capable of performing sustained manual labor
• Ability to work in inclement weather
