Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scanning documents
- Utilize eClinicalWorks software for patient scheduling and electronic medical records
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow at the front desk
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Proficiency with phone systems and basic administrative tasks
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient service best practices
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks software is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask effectively at the front desk
