What you'll do:

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory across all company locations. This position plays a critical role in auditing online order rejections, assessing damaged and defective items, and managing product listings on the company’s eBay account. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to solve complex inventory issues.

  • Inventory Audits: Conduct thorough audits of online order rejections to identify inventory discrepancies and root causes. Analyze item sell-through history, transfer history, and inventory records to determine availability and accuracy at fulfillment locations.
  • Shrinkage Verification: Perform physical inventory counts and audits at various store locations to verify shrink numbers and adjust inventory records as needed.
  • Damage and Defect Management: Inspect damaged and defective items, initiating claims with vendors and suppliers to receive credits or replacements. Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of all claims and resolutions.
  • eBay Listing Management: Responsible for creating and managing product listings for sellable items on the company’s eBay account, including accurate descriptions, photos, pricing, and inventory updates.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Generate regular reports on inventory accuracy, rejection rates, and issues resolved. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve inventory processes and reduce losses.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to communicate findings and implement corrective actions. Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent inventory standard are maintained.

To be considered, you should:

  • 2 years of experience in inventory control, auditing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • May require standing and walking for extended periods of time.
