Job Number 663740BR Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is looking to hire a Quality Engineering Associate Manager in Orlando, FL. The selected candidate will develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. In addition they will also be responsible for the following:
-Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place
-Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. -Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducting quality assurance tests; and performing statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
-Ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. -Collaborating with Engineering and Global Supply Chain for performance at suppliers of scheduled product source inspections, first articles, and product validations as outlined by AS9102 and applicable company and industry standards.
-Providing internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions. -Supporting supplier requests tied to program requirements, interface with customer needs and program management activities. -Participating (as required) in supplier's failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activities. They may also specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree at the bachelor level or above and/or equivalent experience/combined education Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instructions and / or PO notes. Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex. Experience in disposition of non-conforming products Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement Knowledge Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Demonstrated presentation skills Ability to travel

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
