Blueville Nursery is Hiring a Garden Store Landscape Laborer Near Manhattan, KS

Position: Garden Store Landscape LaborerReports to: Outside Manager or Outside TechPay: $13 to $14/hr based on experience.This position will be based out of the garden store. This applicant will be helping with tasks around the store and going out to landscape install jobs for the store. Position duties include:

Seeking part-time and full-time seasonal positions
Hands-on, physical tasks
Exposed to all weather conditions. Adapt quickly to weather changes.
Ability to use equipment with skid loader, pallet jack, push mower, weed eater, hand tools
Lifting, loading, bending, stooping
Handling 50-75lb objects
On your feet for 8 hours a day
Handling bulk material, bagged goods, plants
Maintenance tasks to include general yard work scenarios
Digging holes for plant material with tree and shrub plantings
Watering plants
Ability to work with others
Strong work ethic
Desire to learn
Good listener. Ability to take instruction. Follow directions. Multitask. Complete tasks in a timely manner.
Customer service skills
Reliable, responsible, respectful
Reliable transportation
40 hour per week work availability. Minimum 20-30 hours per week with solid blocks of time and minimal conflicts.
Flexibility in schedule with store hours and watering assistance
Snow removal possibilities

Background in landscape, maintenance, horticulture, construction, farm related tasks applicable.Equipment experiences beneficial with basic hand tools.Good driving record required.
