Job Description

• Collect and preprocess data specifically regarding metallic scrap procurement, ensuring high data quality and integrity.
• Assist in the implementation and possible modifications of existing data models and algorithms to extract actionable insights from procurement datasets.
• Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and outcomes to ensure reproducibility and transparency.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and relationships.
• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively through concise reports, visualizations, and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled working towards or recently graduated earning a Bachelor's or master’s degree in data analytics, mathematics or computer science or a related field with interest or emphasis on data analytics (such as Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Mathematics/Statistics).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to merge technical expertise with business acumen to generate effective solutions
• Base knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office software.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
