About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a creative and results-oriented Marketing Manager to join our conference planning team and lead the marketing and promotional efforts for large conferences and expos.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and promotional strategy to increase awareness and registration for conferences.
Manage all aspects of the event website and mobile app, ensuring clear communication and user-friendly experience for potential attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.
Develop and execute targeted digital marketing campaigns (e.g., email marketing, social media marketing, pay-per-click advertising) to reach relevant audiences.
Collaborate with the Public Relations team to secure media coverage for the event.
Develop and manage promotional materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, e-blasts) to promote the event across various channels.
Manage the exhibitor prospectus and oversee the exhibitor recruitment process.
Develop and manage sponsorship packages and secure sponsorships to support the event.
Track and analyze marketing campaign performance using data analytics tools.
Report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts and identify areas for improvement.
Work collaboratively with the event planning team to ensure all marketing materials and messaging are aligned with the overall event theme and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing event management or a similar B2B environment.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills.
Proficient in marketing automation and analytics tools.
Experience with content marketing a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
