Your MVP Mission:

As Bluemedia's Event Production Director, you're the coach calling the plays. Working hand-in-hand with our Senior Leadership, your mission is to quarterback our most ambitious sports and racing events from vision to victory. Your domain spans Print, Fabrication, and Technology, ensuring each event is a game-changer, leaving fans and clients in awe. 

Your Game Day Highlights:

  • Directing the action for major sports events, making each one legendary.
  • Develop and own project plans that include key activities, internal and external delivery team dependencies, and key milestones that achieve defined business objectives.
  • Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring smooth event setup, efficient logistics, and exceptional attendee experiences.
  • Teaming up with our all-star lineup of sales, execution, and operations to deliver unforgettable fan experiences.
  • Lead project intake implementation to ensure projects are assigned out to correct project managers and delivery teams.
  • Partner with other departments to align and collaborate on awareness, timing, requirements, and prioritization of upcoming contractual and revenue related projects.
  • Forge and foster relationships with Sales, Execution, Operation and Finance.
  • Support the Solutions team with related process improvements in conjunction with other company functions. 
  • Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, security measures, and emergency protocols.
  • Lead post-event evaluations to assess success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Author critical processes with data extraction and providing appropriate training to all staff.
  • Significant travel is required, including but not limited to site surveys, installation/dismantle oversight, and client walkthroughs.

  • Proven experience as a cross-functional Project/Program Manager
  • Experience managing several teams and multiple simultaneous projects
  • Understanding of project planning, targets and deliverables management, decision-making and escalation points
  • Aptitude with time and project management, managing multiple deadlines at once
  • In-depth knowledge of a variety of planning and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Asana, Trello, Instagantt) and other programs used to track and analyze project data
  • Ability to read the room to understand the right tone, approach, and solution to put in place
  • Influential style, particularly building relationships with cross functional partners; ability to drive collaboration
  • Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
Your Hall of Fame Stats:
  • Holding a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in creating major league memories.
  • With 10 years in the event management game, you've left fans awe-struck at every turn.
  • 7 - 10 years of cross functional project and program management experience, preferably in the print industry
  • 5 - 7 years of Technical Project Management experience
  • 5 - 7 years in Change Management or Rollout of new Delivery System
  • Experience with Corebridge, Smartsheets and Prestige a plus.
