Responsibilities

BlueHalo is seeking to hire a master scheduler to work with a variety of teams and customers in a dynamic and product focused environment focused on space products, directed energy, laser communications, and other incredible technology. The candidate will help develop, maintain, and monitor our schedules as well as the processes to support industry best practices across our programs. The best candidates will have an aptitude for working with subject matter experts (SMEs), Engineering, Program Managers (PMs), customer requirements, and internal stakeholders while still maintaining a keen eye for details.

Candidates must have experience delivering customer-ready schedules in MS Project for technology development projects.

• Develop project plans utilizing MS Project and define deliverables that meet identified requirements, and customer expectations across a variety of technology products ranging from extremely large manufacturing to small R&D efforts.
• Works alongside group leads and Program Management to develop and maintain realistic schedules. Interact with stakeholders to update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan.
• Participates in monitoring activities including regular review cycles, customer reporting, internal metric collection, and more. Highlight and escalate schedule slips, variances, and risks to critical path.
• Provides insight and guidance to corporate processes surrounding excellent project schedule execution.
• Supports the program management office (PMO) in leading program execution by deriving, tracking and coordinating program metrics.
• Coordinates cross functionally to provide critical schedule information to contracts, finance, and others as needed.
• Participating in special projects as required.
• Manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, and coordinate work with others to balance internal and external deadlines.
• Audit schedules for compliance with industry standards
• Generate templates and guidance to assist IPTs, SMEs, and others in participation in the scheduling process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Exceptional experience with MS Project or similar developing resource loaded schedules
• Communication - excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to listen, assimilate, evaluate, and summarize. Sound ability to communicate with the customer at all levels.
• Project Lifecycle knowledge - sound knowledge of the Project Lifecycle from requirements definition, proposal preparation and negotiation and project implementation through to completion.
