BlueHalo is looking for an Embedded Engineer to join the Unmanned Aircraft and Payloads team. This is a fast-paced team developing innovative solutions in the Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) space.The right candidate will work on developing and testing embedded software across several platforms. They will collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team of software engineers, hardware engineers, mechanical engineers, technicians, and pilots. Strong candidates will be creative problem solvers who are excited to tackle new challenges.
Required Qualifications· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience· Mid-level experience· Able to obtain a Clearance· Strong skill in C/C , preferably with embedded experience· Experience in Linux OS· Experience with register-level programming of embedded processors· Experience developing multi-threaded embedded applications· Experience with embedded debugging techniques· Able to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary teamPreferred Qualifications· Experience in FPGA design with an HDL language (VHDL or Verilog)· Experience in analog or digital circuit design· Experience in schematic capture and/or PCB layout (using Altium or similar tool)· Skill in data analysis and/or algorithm development, using MATLAB, Python, etc.· Familiarity with Agile development process
