The Forklift /Cherry Picker is responsible for completing various tasks as specified by the customer’s work direction, and general needs. This position requires the team member to operate a stand up lift that can raise up to three stories high. The Operator is responsible for accurately filling customer's orders in a timely manner. Prior experience on a stand up lift is strongly preferred.

Requirements

Some of your Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining safety 
• Following written work instructions in a self-directed manner
• Operating forklift (Stand-up/Cherry Picker) in a safe and efficient manner
• Lifting materials up to 75 lbs., strapping down loads, setting up material dunnage
• Meeting expectations for timeliness and accuracy
• Up-stacking and down-stacking large items
• Safely loading/unloading materials from trailers
• Assisting other team members in various tasks as requested 
• Completing dock inspections of final product
• Taking direction from Bluegrass leadership, as well as the customer

You’ll also need to have:

• A minimum of 1 year of recent forklift experience
• Valid driver’s license 
• Must be able to pass forklift observation and certification process 
• Experience and willingness to work on stand-up forklifts that can raise up to three stories high
• High school diploma or equivalent

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred 
• Minimum of one years of Forklift Experience, preferably stand-up lifts
