Tasks:

• Executing the accurate drawing of blood using different venipuncture techniques and collection methods.
• Verifying patient's identification and maintaining patient's personal and health information confidentiality.
• Preparing, processing, and storing specimens effectively and accurately.
• Ensuring to follow the standard laboratory protocols and procedures stridently.
• Assisting in managing patient’s adverse reactions or complications.
• Collaborating supportively with our team of medical staff in promoting patient care.
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sterilization of the drawing stations and equipment.
• Participating actively in educational resources and training to continuously enhance the phlebotomy skills.

Credentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved PCT training program.
• Clean criminal background record/able to undergo a background check
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Excellent patient service delivery, preserving patient dignity and minimizing discomfort during blood draw.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment, and balance multiple priorities.
