Summary:
Supervisors (SUP) are the driving force of the Bluebird Way and Values. With frequent interactions with customers, they are expected to be a premium example to customers and other employees of the Bluebird Way. As a Supervisor, CSR’s become more than your direct reports, they become your customers. Your role as a leader is to empower them to perform at a higher level and to provide the structure and direction that they need to be successful in achieving their goals and company objectives. As a SUP you are expected to continue to perform all CSR duties and when the opportunity is present leading shifts and running operations.
What: Supervisor 1 or SUP 1 is the first level of the Supervisor ranks. At this level, Supervisors are learning more about the actual function of the systems beyond the customer service aspect. SUP 1s are responsible for coordinating lunches and breaks to ensure efficient utilization of site staffing. Time spent in SUP 1 should be focused on mastering skills and dedication to becoming a Leader. The main focus for SUP 1s to master is as follows:

  • Mastery of the Bluebird Way and Constant Example of the Bluebird Values
  • Proven Dedication to Improving the Bluebird Way
  • Managing Customers Account Issues and Upset Customers
  • Safety Training
  • Emergency Procedures
  • Clean/ Replace Nozzles on IQMAX and arches
  • Training of Others on all CSR Tasks
  • New Hire Training (Train the Trainer System)
  • Basic XPT Issue Troubleshooting
  • Transaction Manager Restart
  • Making Hydraulic/High Pressure Hoses
  • Grease Bearings
  • Opening/Closing the Truck Wash Independently
  • Perform a Vehicle/Equipment Quality Check
  • Understanding of Chemistry Distribution System
  • Restock Chemistry at Pump Stand and Perform Volumetrics
  • Maintaining and Improving Site Standards Site Inspection Reports
  • Understanding of the Flash Report and all metrics reported
  • All other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients or customers, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Handling Damage Claim
  • Handling unsatisfied customers
  • Computer / HMI work: able to effectively work with computers and HMI interfaces to ensure that customer experience and business data is properly handled.
  • Communication Functions:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and peers to ensure that work is done timely and accurately.
  • Ability to read and write simple English to document shift events
  • Physical Functions:
  • Ladder Work: Ability to safely and effectively work on ladders at varying heights including by not limited to: step ladders, extendable ladders, portable step scaffolding, semi-truck ladders and steps, trailer ladders and steps. Capable of climbing, descending, and maintaining balance to perform tasks as required.
  • Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing in excess of 10 pounds regularly, with proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
  • Stooping and Bending: Able to stoop, bend, and kneel for extended periods, often for more than 2 minutes at a time, to access and perform tasks at lower levels or ground level.
  • Walking / Standing: Comfortable and capable of walking / standing for the majority of the workday, maintaining good posture and stamina to fulfill job duties effectively.
  • Cleaning: Capable of using extendable cleaning brushes at below-shoulder, shoulder, and above-shoulder heights to scrub vehicles and applicable property cleaning/ maintenance projects.
  • Chemicals: Ability to use abrasive chemicals safely and efficiently for cleaning vehicles and applicable property.

Job requirements:*
High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
6 Months Experience in a supervisory position or leadership role (preferred).
A high level of initiative, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done
