JOB DESCRIPTION

-Provides behavioral medicine services include:

• Applying psychological knowledge and principles in an integrated primary care setting to treat common physical and mental health problems experienced by adults and/or children patients and families in primary care
• Consultation
• Evaluation
• Diagnosis and Treatment consistent with an integrated primary care model.

-Maintains records and attends required hospital and residency meeting

-Collaborate with colleagues on inpatient and outpatient services

-Primary responsibility will be to assist with developing services consistent with collaborative care within a patient-centered medical home

-There will be some opportunity to provide didactics, run a support group and teach residents within the same specialty

REQUIRED

• Doctorate, Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) for an APA-approved training program
• Clinical Psychologist License
