The Solutions Engineer (SE) is a member of the Business Development Team who is responsible for clearly communicating the various products and technologies currently offered within the Bluebird Network product portfolio during pre and post-sales customer interactions; also responsible for post-sales customer follow-up interactions to ensure products and/or solutions work as communicated. The SE will also provide technical assistance on day-to-day solutions design and Request for Pricing (RFP) response assistance to the Bluebird Carrier and Enterprise Sales Teams. The SE will be required to regularly engage various members of the Bluebird Network Operations, Engineering and Network Support Services (NSS) teams for collaboration, as needed, prior to communicating with the customer.

This position requires a broad understanding of Bluebird Network’s capabilities, customers, relationships and networking technologies and protocols (SONET, TDM, Ethernet, IP, Frame Relay, ATM, EoS, MPLS, DWDM, etc.). This position requires strong customer focus, strong organizational, project and matrix management skills and the ability to complete tasks in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
