Job Title: Production Supervisor (12 Hour Night Shift)
Location: Oxford, NC
Duration: Permanent Position
Job description
- Collaborate with plant leadership teams to ensure alignment with strategic intentions in an effort to ensure a safe work environment, environmental conformance/compliance, cost management, while providing superior quality products and services to continually improve customer satisfaction managed through a systematic approach.
- Lead team performance and provide feedback to hourly teammates in the major areas of accountability, to include safety, quality, environment, people, cost and productivity.
- Provide a positive teammate relationship environment for plant teammates.
- Monitor and communicate results of department key performance indicators to ensure plant and organizational long-term success. Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for the hourly teams.
- ·Manage continuous improvement activities utilizing Standards Driven Process and 5S.
- Develop and launch leaders, utilizing the multi-skilled work force and job certification system to ensure bench strength and growth within the plant.
What are the nice-to-have skills?
· Experience with rubber (pressing, extruding, mixing)
