INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
The Custodian's responsibility is to perform a variety of cleaning activities, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing. They also ensure the Waterpark is cared for and inspected according to company standards.

• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and comply with policies

• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
• Strong Attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
• Initiative to take on tasks without being told and without being monitored

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

• Cleaning Welcome Center and Waterpark grounds
  • This includes dusting, polishing, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, trash removal, vacuuming, and floor cleaning.
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Organize janitorial storage areas.
• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance
• Providing onsite guest support or requests with a high-quality customer service approach
• Works cohesively with guest services, management staff, and other departments to exceed guest expectations and achieve company and departmental goals.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
• Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured and guest-ready always.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Provides regular and reliable attendance

WHAT YOU BRING

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
