Basic Description:
We seek energetic, presentable, organized male and female food runners to provide professional, prompt, cheerful and helpful service of our menu items to our guests. The pace is fast, and high levels of organization, combined with extreme hospitality are expected. Positive guest interaction and enthusiastic representation of The Gilmore Collection is critical. Our food runners are key in promoting our style, our quality, and our reputation of hospitality.

Stages, runs and serves all menu items. Assists with clearing tables, refilling water, serving bread, relaying beverage orders, packaging leftovers, and restocking clean plates, silverware, and glassware.
Essential Functions:
Makes Eye Contact and Smiles at All Guests When Running Food

Communicates Needs in a Friendly and Upbeat Fashion to All Departments

Alerts Manager when food is running ‘long time’ (past the parameters for the site)

Relays any Guest Complaints

Uses Expo Monitors

Ensures Garnish Specs & Accompanying Items are Correct

Serves Professionally: Pivot Point Service, Announces Dishes, Ladies First

Serving Food from Left, w/ Left; Serving Beverage from Right, w/ Right

Never Touching Tops of Plates or Upper Third of Glasses

Refilling Coffee, Water, Soda, Tea

Utilizes Serviettes, Pepper Mills, & Cheese Graters

Clears Extra Dishes and Debris

Performs Sidework and Assigned Duties Cheerfully and Promptly

Working Conditions
1. This position will spend 100% of the time standing.

2. Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.

3. The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.

4. Must be able to speak and understand basic English phrases.

5. Must be able to hear with 100% accuracy with correction.

6. Must be able to see to 20/20 vision with correction.
Level
Works under direct supervision of floor managers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
