Group Home Supervisor, Group Home Manager (Macomb County Licensed Group Home)

This Program offers community living in family settings. All homes are supervised 24-hours a day by trained Direct Support Professionals, Direct Care Workers, Caregivers.

Shift:

full time positions, 40 hours per week, shifts vary

Rate of Pay (commensurate with experience and education):

Up to $55,942.83 annual salary including State of MI premium pay, dependent upon education and experience.

Potential for pay increases with length of service.
Historically paid bonuses

Job Description:

We are seeking an Program Supervisor, Program Manager who will focus on improving the physical and mental well-being of individuals with special needs, while maintaining a positive and safe living environment for the individuals served and monitoring/reporting on their progress.

Ensure that physical plant and home records meet audit requirements as specified by the governing agency.
Ensure that staff follows policies and procedures.
Monitor and maintain all home records and consumer files.
Ensure that staff follows consumer goals as established via the PCP process, and that interactions are positive and appropriate.
Maintain and monitor personal allowance and petty cash accounts within the home.
Ensure that the end of the month documentation is complete, accurate and routed to the office in a timely manner.
Responsible for general facility, vehicle, and equipment maintenance, as well as coordination of transportation.
Perform management, quality assurance, and personnel management duties as required.
Perform direct care responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 100 credit hours and two (2) years’ experience working with individuals, who are developmentally disabled.
Responsible to maintain a clear driving record and meet the minimum standard of "good moral character" as defined by the Bureau of Child and Adult Licensing.
