Group Home Assistant Supervisor St. Clair County (Algonac, Marysville, and Port Huron) Group Home – Licensed Group Homes

This Program offers community living in family settings. All homes are supervised 24-hours a day by trained Direct Support Professionals, Direct Care Workers, Caregivers.

Shift:

full time positions, 40 hours per week, shifts vary

Rate of Pay (commensurate with experience and education):

Up to $22.24 per hour including State of MI premium pay, dependent upon education and experience.

Potential for pay increases with length of service.
Historically paid bonuses.

Job Description:

We are seeking an Assistant Program Supervisor who will focus on improving the physical and mental well-being of individuals with special needs, while maintaining a positive and safe living environment for the individuals served and monitoring/reporting on their progress.

Ensure that physical plant and home records meet audit requirements as specified by the governing agency.
Ensure that staff follows policies and procedures.
Monitor and maintain all home records and consumer files.
Ensure that staff follows consumer goals as established via the PCP process, and that interactions are positive and appropriate.
Maintain and monitor personal allowance and petty cash accounts within the home.
Ensure that the end of the month documentation is complete, accurate and routed to the office in a timely manner.
Responsible for general facility, vehicle, and equipment maintenance, as well as coordination of transportation.
Perform direct care responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Two years of college in social work, education, sociology, or related field; or two years’ experience in the field working with people who are developmentally disabled.
Acceptable criminal record check and drug screen. Meeting the organization’s definition of acceptable moral character
Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Maintain reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable for insurance purposes.
