Job Description: We are seeking skilled and experienced individuals to join our team as Cabinet Assembly Technicians. As a Cabinet Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing cabinets to meet customer specifications. This position requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Review work orders, and to understand cabinet specifications and requirements.
- Select and prepare materials, including wood panels, hardware, and finishing materials, for assembly.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components according to specifications.
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides with precision and accuracy.
- Inspect finished cabinets for defects or imperfections and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Ensure that all finished cabinets meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety in the assembly process.
8. Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in cabinet assembly, carpentry, or woodworking.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
- Strong knowledge of cabinet construction techniques and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established safety protocols and procedures.
