Title: Senior / Principal Process Improvement Engineer
Rate: $60/hr - $70/hr
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid) needs to have the ability to be onsite 1-2 days a week
Contract Term: until end of 2023
Must be authorized to work in the US

Under limited supervision, is responsible for understanding, re-engineering and designing business processes. Individuals in this role are project leaders, and change agents. They will be responsible for delivering productivity gains to the organization as well as improving the company’s ability to meet customer’s expectations. Lead and/or work with project teams, Service Owners, customers, stakeholders and senior management to identify and define business problems and opportunities. This position will lead process improvement projects of high complexity, have excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills, have strong executive presence, and support a culture of continuous process improvement.
· Responsible for assigned operations, and for managing work standards, identifying cost savings, and other special engineering projects to drive cost efficiency and operational improvements
· Act as a liaison with other segments of client's and customers to improve operational coordination and standardization
· End-to-end business process activities reviewing, creating, controlling, and improving business processes
· Partner with Service Owners to define road-maps and solution recommendations that are based on industry best practice, user feedback, and common sense
· Partner with Service Owners to ensure shared understanding of global process blueprint and global solutions and establish clear documentation outlining gaps and impact to local teams
· Assist leadership in developing cost/benefit analysis and high-level plans to implement process and solution improvements
· Provide analysis for identifying requirements and testing efforts for process improvement projects
· Consult Service Owners to develop methods to measure processes to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
· Improve processes by studying process flowcharts, recommending modifications in workflow and work procedures
· Assist in communication and training to enable process change
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or Engineering/Mathematics
· 4 years of experience with documenting processes, process mapping, creating and deploying process documentation standards, and process documentation governance procedures
· Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
· Intermediate or higher level of proficiency in ITIL and IT delivery best practices
· Basic or higher level of proficiency with ServiceNow
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in Agile SAFe practices
· Experience in process improvements frameworks such as Six Sigma
· Experience managing multiple, simultaneous projects
· Experience with data mining methods, and optimization techniques
· Experience as a change agent with demonstrated transformations in the process engineering domain
· Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
