Duties:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, such as specimen collection
- Operate laboratory equipment and utilize laboratory information management systems to record and analyze test results
- Conduct immunoassays, PCR assays, and other specialized tests as required
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide accurate information for patient care
Skills:
- Proficient in laboratory procedures and techniques
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
- Familiarity with immunoassays, PCR assays, RNA extraction, and other molecular biology techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirement:
- Must have 3 or more years of experience as a Medical Technician
