Position: Director IT

Location: Corporate Office, Uniondale, NY

Summary:

Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions is a dynamic and growing hospitality company committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. We operate a portfolio of hotels across various brands, including Hilton, Marriott, and IHG. As we expand, we are seeking a visionary Director of Technology to lead our IT initiatives and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with our business goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to define the technology vision for the organization.
• Vendor Management: Work closely with IT vendors to ensure seamless implementation, maintenance, and support of technology solutions. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Brand Standards: Familiarize yourself with major brand standards (Hilton, Marriott, IHG) and ensure our technology infrastructure complies with their requirements.
• Business Fundamentals: Understand the hospitality industry’s nuances, including pricing strategy, guest relations, and revenue management.
• IT Security: Implement robust security protocols to safeguard our systems, data, and guest information.
• Microsoft Tools: Leverage Microsoft technologies effectively for productivity, communication, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a technology leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of brand standards and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with pricing strategies, revenue management, and guest satisfaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools and other Hospitality Software Office 365, Amadeus, Oracle, Opera, OTA Insight, OnQ, Lightspeed, PEP, Toast, Aloha,
• Passion for innovation and staying abreast of industry trends.
