Focus :

Assist in overseeing the company’s Safety Program to ensure its effectiveness. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the safety of all employees.

Contribute to fostering a safety-first culture within the organization. Conduct investigations into near-miss incidents and implement corrective actions.

Facilitate safety orientation for new employees and provide ongoing training. Perform safety audits of the facility to identify potential hazards.

Participate in various meetings and serve on the safety committee.

Skill Set :

High school diploma or equivalent; prior manufacturing experience preferred. Commitment to prioritizing safety in all aspects of work.

Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive safety information. Proficiency in identifying risks in a manufacturing environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic computer skills; familiarity with safety management systems is advantageous.

Preferred forklift certification (company provided). Physical capability to conduct safety audits and perform general tasks.

Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills. Effective troubleshooting abilities to address safety concerns.
