Blue Ridge Preservation Inc. is Hiring a Leasing Agent Near Boone, NC

Blue Ridge Preservation in Boone, NC is looking for a part-time ambitious Leasing Agent who will be responsible for conducting all aspects of leasing activities related to their 114 residential housing units located on the campus of the Art of Living Retreat Center.

The Leasing Agent will also be responsible for supporting the daily operations of Property Management, Facility Operations, and Residential Leasing. The qualified candidate must be flexible and organized. Must be willing to assist in all facets of the leasing department operations to ensure maximum efficiency.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities include:

  • Waitlist management
  • Assist prospects with online application
  • Schedule property tours with prospects
  • Prepare and execute lease contracts
  • Prepare move out packets and close out resident accounts
  • Conduct unit inspections as required
  • Collection of monthly rents, security deposits, and fees associated with leasing activities
  • Maintain oversight of the completion of work orders, maintenance and preparation of vacant units for market readiness
  • Write emails, handle all incoming/outgoing calls
  • Organizing tenant files, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars, writing, and proofreading, emailing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 yrs Leasing experience or related property management experience
  • Working knowledge of RealPage (OneSite) property management software is a benefit

Education & Training Requirements:

Highschool diploma, GED, Vocational or Leasing/Property Management Office certification.

Application Requirements: Must pass a background screening. Must be able to work in the United States and have work references.

Job Type: Part-time - this could grow into a full-time position.

Benefits: Full-time benefits include health/dental insurance, vacation and sick pay after a 90-day probationary period, and 401K after One year of employment.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
